DESCRIPTION:Description:  Training is scheduled over 12 weeks which allows for practice and reflection\nIn-service hours: –    2.0 per session                                               Location/Format:  Virtual\nLast Day to Register:  Friday, April 12, 2024.                                Seats Available: 14\nLanguage: English                                                                           Trainer:  Chinaka Grizzle\nAim:\n\nThe overall aim is for participants to be introduced to Pre-K Class tool measures.\nA training designed to build CLASS proficiency in understanding and application.\nParticipants will gain a functional knowledge of the Class interactions which underpin better learning outcomes for children.\nParticipants will explore how “Making the Most of Classroom Interactions” impacts on children’s long term learning outcomes.\nParticipants to gain a deeper understanding of the above using the “Know, See, Do” approach and method as promoted by TEACHSTONE.\nParticipants will have opportunities to focus on challenges and practice in their own classrooms between sessions.\nGroup coaching sessions & discussions will facilitate learning and professional growth through reflection.\n\nCore Competencies:\nCore Knowledge 4a T1-4, 4c T1-4\nPlease Note:  Registration is required for session 1 only – However participants will be automatically registered for the full 12 sessions.\nParticipants missing more than 15 minutes of total training time will NOT receive a certificate of completion.\nPlease be prepared to arrive on time and stay until the end of the training. This is an in-person training. Participants must actively participate in class discussions, and complete & submit the training evaluation form before a certificate will be awarded. Partial in-service hours will not be awarded.\nDates are subject to change. The Early Learning Coalition of Brevard reserves the right to cancel classes at any time. Registered participants will be notified of course cancellation via email 24 hours in advance.\n
