By highlighting the similarities and differences between the 2008 and 2nd edition interactions our facilitators will explore the three domains namely, Emotional & Behavioral Support, Classroom Organization & Instructional Support, which is the foundation of the CLASS Pre K measure.\nBy the end of the session, Educators will have a deeper understanding of the observable CLASS interactions which are essential not only to the Assessment process but fundamental to improved child outcomes.\nAims: –\n\nThe overall aim is for Educators to be introduced to the2nd edition Pre K Class measure.\nTraining designed to build understanding of the similarities and differences between 2008 and 2nd edition measures\nTo deepen understanding of CLASS and assist Educators in preparing for their own CLASS Assessments.\nParticipants will explore how “CLASS Interaction” essentials are essential & impacts on children long term learning outcomes.\nEducators will be offered an overview of Positive Climate, Negative Climate, Educator Sensitivity, Regard for Child Perspectives, Behavior Management, Productivity, Instructional Learning Formats, Concept Development, Quality of Feedback, and Language Modelling as it relates to the 2nd Edition Pre K tool.\nELC’s Group coaching approach will encourage participants to learn and grow through self-reflective practices.\n\nCore Competencies:\nCore Knowledge 4a T1-4, 4c T1-4\nPlease Note:\nPlease be prepared to arrive on time and stay until the end of the training. This is an in-person training participants must actively participate in class discussions, and complete & submit the training evaluation form before a certificate is awarded. Partial in-service hours will not be awarded.\nDates are subject to change. The Early Learning Coalition of Brevard reserves the right to cancel classes at any time. Registered participants will be notified of course cancellation via email 24 hours in advance.\n
