ELC of Brevard proudly presents its Annual Provider Conference – “Western Roundup” on 9/30/2023 at Sterling Stables, Cocoa, 8:30am -3:30pm

The Early Learning Coalition of Brevard is delighted to welcome educators and providers to our 13th Annual Provider Conference. This year’s conference theme is a “Western Roundup”, and the venue is the picturesque Sterling Stables in historical Cocoa.

The conference keynote speaker is the legend – Coy Bowles, he is a Literacy and Early Education Advocate by day, and a multi-platinum music star by night , as a member of the three-time Grammy Award winning Zac Brown Band. Coy has some pretty exciting things on the horizon for us in his eagerly anticipated presentation “Connect to Your Calling”. Recently, Coy has unveiled his new children’s education and creativity company, Coyco Creative. Standing for “Creativity Opportunity Yields Creative Output”, Coyco delivers new and original children’s books and music, play-based Learning, and unique opportunities for both in-person and digital classrooms.

Our other esteemed guest speaker is the renowned Dr. Walter Drew, he has researched and provided play leadership training as co-founder of the Institute for Self Active Education, Dr. Drew is President of The Association for the Study of Play, and lead facilitator for the National Association for the Education of Young Children (NAEYC) Play, Policy and Practice Interest Forum, and as Founder of the Florida Association for the Education of Young Children PLAY Chapter. He also pioneered the development of Reusable Resource Centers as a community-building business/ education/environmental initiative.

Participants will earn a total six (6) hours of in-service training and receive a certificate.

Conference cost: $20.00, and Lunch is included. Seating is a first come first serve basis. There will be a vendor fair for you to enjoy throughout the day, and our conference ends at 3:30 pm.
